StepMelon requests access to your Motion & Fitness data through Apple's CMPedometer framework to provide step tracking functionality.

What we access:

• Daily step count
• Step data timestamps
• Activity status

Where it's stored:

• All step data remains on your Apple Watch
• Stored locally using Apple's UserDefaults
• Never transmitted off your device

Data We Do NOT Access

• ✗ Your name or identity
• ✗ Your location or GPS data
• ✗ Health data beyond step counts
• ✗ Contacts or photos
• ✗ Any other personal information

How We Use Your Information

All data processing happens exclusively on your Apple Watch:

1. Step Tracking: We access your step count to display progress
2. Goal Management: We store your custom goals locally
3. Achievement Tracking: We track milestones locally
4. Historical Data: We maintain local history of your daily step counts

Premium Subscription

• Payment Processing: Handled entirely by Apple
• Subscription Status: Verified locally on your device
• No Account Creation: Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID

Children's Privacy

StepMelon is suitable for all ages and does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Security

Since we don't collect or store your data on external servers:

• ✓ No risk of unauthorized access (data is on your device only)
